What We Improved

Newline API

  • Enhanced ACH Transaction Visibility: Added additional transaction data to API responses and CSV reports to provide greater transparency into ACH processing and support customer reconciliation workflows.
  • Expanded Transaction Event Data: Transaction event payloads now include settlement information, giving customers more visibility into transaction lifecycle activity and improving downstream reporting capabilities.
  • Improved Transfer Event Reporting: Enhanced transfer event payloads with additional transaction details to support operational reporting, reconciliation, and workflow automation.
  • Strengthened ACH Data Validation: Improved ACH addenda validation to help prevent formatting issues that can impact payment processing and reporting.
  • Expanded RTP Testing Capabilities: RTP Purpose of Payment (POP) functionality is now available in sandbox environments, enabling customers to test and validate payment workflows before moving to production.

What We Fixed

Notifications & Events

  • More Complete Failure Notifications: Resolved an issue that could prevent certain transfer failure details from being included in notifications. Customers now receive more complete information when transfers are unsuccessful.
  • Improved Event Delivery Reliability: Addressed an issue that could result in duplicate notification events, providing a more consistent event experience for downstream integrations.

Payments & Transaction Processing

  • Enhanced ACH Reconciliation Accuracy: Resolved reconciliation issues affecting specific ACH processing scenarios, improving reporting accuracy and reducing manual review efforts.
  • Improved RTP Processing Support: Fixed an issue affecting a small subset of RTP transactions, resulting in more reliable payment processing.

Why It Matters

This month's updates focus on delivering greater transparency, improved reconciliation capabilities, and a more reliable platform experience.

Customers now have access to richer transaction and event data, making it easier to track payment activity, automate business processes, and reconcile financial records with confidence.

The notification and processing improvements delivered this month provide more complete transaction information, improve payment-processing reliability, and reduce operational friction across ACH and RTP workflows.

Together, these enhancements help customers spend less time troubleshooting and more time focused on delivering seamless financial experiences.
