Topic Definitions

Newline will work with Clients to define the event notifications they would like to receive. This can include changes to Transactions and Synthetic Accounts, including their respective states and statuses. Newline will communicate these events to Clients through topics.

Payments Use Cases

An important part of our event definition will be to identify which supported topics meet the needs of either Client or Customer users.

Consider Transfers. If a Customer or Client is interested in the status of their Transfer, the Client could subscribe to our Transfer topic, and listen for events noting a status change. This provides a payload of information that can be used to update a UI or create a push notification.
